"A Leap of Faith: The Miracle of Modesty"
Hi so I have a personal story for the modesty hotline. My husband had a very bad case of anemia that landed him in the hospital for a few days we kept going for checkups and the blood levels were going down and one day I took upon myself to wear the ideal length of a skirt that covers up the ankles, miracoulsy after taking this on the next appointment they told us his numbers went to a higher level then usually and it was almost normal which wasn't possible in the our eyes because the blood level was low. BH I saw a salvation after taking a big step of making my skirt long that covers the ankles. Thank you Hashem
"Miracles in Modesty: A Lost Passport and a Prayer Answered"
I’d like to tell a story of how Hashem literally created something from nothing. I have a flight to Israel for seminary. As I was packing in my room, I realized I lost my passport. My flight was in 5 days including Rosh Hashanah!!!! I cleaned and searched everywhere for my passport. And when it seemed fruitless, I cried and I cried for over 4 hours, begging Hashem to help me. I searched in every pocket in every purse and suitcase, but I couldn’t find it. I was desperate. I prayed, “Hashem, at this point in time during Creation, You created something from nothing, I beg you, please to do so for me too. I also gave money to tzedakah. Then, I asked Hashem to look at the kabbalot in tsniut that I took on this year, and even though I am a single woman, I took on to fully cover my hair with a mitpachat when I am in my own house and to wear only maxi skirts or dresses in the house for 40 days, in addition to listening to the modesty hotline. And that in this zechut, I’ll find my passport by 9am, as it was currently almost 5am. Not even 5 minutes after I wrote down my kabala in my phone. I look straight ahead and I CLEARLY see my password inside the pocket of my opened suitcase!!! A pocket I searched and lifted multiple times!!!An open miracle!!! As promised, I am sharing this miracle to give every women chizuk and show the true power of modesty. Thank you Hashem!
Hi, I have a miracle story to share. For six years, I suffered from severe eczema and psoriasis. My hands were constantly swollen, itchy, and marred by painful cracks that often led to infections. The agony was unbearable, preventing me from getting my hands wet. I resorted to wearing gloves for every task that might moisten my hands, even showering. My misery was palpable. I sought help from numerous doctors and experimented with an array of creams, but to no avail. Each consultation ended with the same disheartening conclusion: it's an autoimmune disease, and it can't be cured. However, this past year, I committed myself to a significant change. I decided to cover my legs when wearing short skirts, a considerable challenge for me. I've always disliked tights, particularly in the summer. Honestly, I doubted my strength to uphold this commitment, but I prayed for Hashem's assistance, and He truly provided! In less than a month, my psoriasis was cured — without any medication. It's genuinely astounding how Hashem encourages our tzniut (modesty). After years of suffering, such a small act of modesty healed me. Thank you, Hashem! I sincerely hope my story inspires many women. Embracing tzniut can be challenging, but it's unequivocally rewarding.
"Mice, Modesty, and Miracles: A Tale of Spiritual Safeguarding"
Last year, my home was invaded by mice. Despite our best efforts with traps and poison, the infestation persisted. We contemplated hiring an expensive exterminator. Even our downstairs neighbor, who'd adopted a cat to tackle the issue, had no luck. Amidst this, I embraced a personal tzniut (modesty) commitment related to our neighbor, and astonishingly, within days, the mice disappeared! I was overwhelmed with gratitude, marveling at how my tzniut commitment was so valuable to Hashem that He banished the mice without us resorting to an exterminator's services. Time passed, the neighbor moved away, and my commitment became irrelevant. Surprisingly, a few months later, a mouse appeared in our home. I pondered why Hashem had seemingly withdrawn His protection. I challenged myself with a question: "If I'm not safeguarding my home spiritually, how can I expect Hashem to shield it physically?" I hypothesized that my phone, unfiltered and sometimes used by my children to watch videos, might be the weak link. Although we used 613Tube.com, a more kosher version of YouTube, it didn't offer complete filtration. I resolved to strengthen my spiritual defenses by blocking the site, a challenging decision, but I persevered. And Baruch Hashem, we've been mouse-free ever since! Thank you so much, Hashem!
